The Story
While playing in many local Brisbane bands, including most recently Rendezvous for 2 years, Matt has always been actively working on his own music. 50% Truth is the result of the 10 years of playing guitar and writing music. The latest release by 50% Truth, “The Sun That Never Sets”, is the first official demo / album that has been released to the public, even though over the 10 years there have been many demos recorded.

The 50% Truth sound is a combination of the many influences in Matt’s writing, including both local and international artists. The music contains both heavy and acoustic songs, covering many different genres, and providing a strong indication of Matt’s diverse taste in music.
